GOLBORNE Parkside prepared for this weekend's top of the table of the table clash away against league leaders Shevington Sharks with a walkover victory against Culcheth.
For the second time this season Culcheth failed to raise a side against Golborne who were awarded an 18-0 victory.
The race for the Division Three title will be keenly contested this Saturday with Shevington attempting to hold on to their unbeaten tag. Golborne will be going all out to gain revenge for their only defeat of the season by Shevington to a last minute drop goal.
Golborne A team gained a good victory away at Folly Lane, building a first half lead of 14-6 with tries from Chris Miller 2 and Jayhu JB Linevesery and a conversion from Danny Gurhey.
Golborne dominated the second half and added further tries from Mathew Williams 2, Gareth Dickinson, Jayhu JB Linesvesy, Stuart Arkwright and Danny Gurhey who also added two goals.
Chris Reynolds took the man of the match with Michael Prince second and Neil Muir third.
The Under 18s saved their best performance of the season to the end when they beat Leigh Miners 24-18.
The Golborne side, full of fire, built a 20-12 half time lead with tries from Stuart Goulding, Nathan Drury and Paul Johnson plus four goals from Goulding. A second half try from Goulding sealed victory.
