HOLLINS-based chartered accountants DTE certainly came up with all the right answers during a special quiz event.
Now, staff have donated their £1,260 prize money to Cancer Research UK.
They were among 20 squads taking part in the charity quiz night, hosted by Barclays Bank, which was held in Bolton.
The event, supported by teams of solicitors and accountancy firms from the area, raised £630 but was matched by the bank to make the total prize money of £1,260.
Fiona O'Loughlin, partner in DTE's audit department and a quiz team member, said: "We were thrilled to be the winning team as it meant we were able to donate the prize money to our chosen charity.
"We decided to donate to Cancer Research UK as it is a highly reputable cause that helps thousands of people every day."
Tony Fulton, area corporate director for Barclays, commented: "DTE put in a great performance to win the competition and everyone enjoyed the evening as well as raising money for charity.
"This is the first charity quiz night that we have organised but due to its success we will make it an annual event."
