A COUNTRY garden near Entwistle reservoir will be open to the public on two Sundays under the National Gardens Scheme, which raises money for charity.
Heaselands in Overshores Road will be open on June 19 and July 17, from 11am to 5pm.
The half-acre plot has densely-planted and scented flower beds, a water feature, arbours and a pergola in a beautiful setting.
Entrance to the garden is £2.50, with cream teas available and plants will be on sale.
There is no vehicle access to Overshores Road. Visitors must park on Entwistle reservoir car park, or Greens Arms Road, and walk over the dam to the garden.
