GREENMOUNT gained revenge for last seasons Hamer Cup final defeat when they saw off fellow Bolton League side Westhoughton in the second round of the Thwaites Lancashire Knockout.
And they had teenager Ryan Senior to thank for a major contribution in the crushing nine-wicket win.
Senior picked up a couple of wickets as the Bolton side were dismissed for a disappointing 116.
However, Mark Fallon proved the main man with figures of 4 for 19 from his nine overs.
Greenmount were never in any trouble in the reply.
Once Andy Kerr departed for a duck, Senior linked up well with Indian professional Nishit Shetty making his maiden half century, finishing on 54 not out while Shetty added 56 runs of his own.
On Saturday the weather foiled the village side when Horwich were the visitors.
Batting first, they were restricted to 201 all out with Shetty (40), Mark Stewart (34 not out), Andy Bowker (33) and Kerr (25) leading the way.
They had Horwich on 68 for 4 when rain set in to abandon the game with Peter Kay and Shetty taking two wickets apiece.
