A revolutionary new method through which companies in the North West can promote themselves and sell their services is set to be launched by ABF Enterprise4all Ltd.
e Bazaar will be launched in early summer and has already attracted an outstanding response from ABF's thousand strong membership.
The e Bazaar portal allows each and every member of the Asian Business Federation an opportunity to have their own pages on the internet totally free of charge (for at least one year).
As well as hosting the pages the ABF will be instrumental in maintaining the site for prospective businesses and services. The e Bazaar project is being sponsored and endorsed by the University of Salford.
The ABFs long term aim is to have a virtual mall of businesses and services that the general public can access through a single, unique website.
"We appreciate that some of our members will have a website already set up for their business," admits Khalid Saifullah - Chief Executive at the ABF.
"But more importantly, there are many, many businesses that have not fully understood the benefits of online promotion or trading.
"The e Bazaar portal allows small businesses to taste the benefits of being online at minimum cost and with full support."
Two hundred businesses have already registered and the launch date is nearly three months away.
One of the members that have seen the benefit of e-Bazaar at this early stage is Blush Hair and Beauty, based in Blackburn.
"To be honest with you, we are very busy throughout the year at the Blush salon and e Bazaar has come at just the right time for us", says Blush's Tahira Jawaid.
"We have been thinking about doing something on the internet for at least a year now but we just haven't had time to get round to it.
"The beauty about e Bazaar is that the ABF have taken all the hassle away from us. They will basically sort out all the technical details and all we have to do is update our particular area every so often.
"We have a very large menu list of treatments and I can't believe that we can fit all these details within e Bazaar.
As well as having a free web page, the ABF businesses will also receive a unique password to manage their site and free hosting for a year. And for those businesses that have their own website a direct link will be created by e Bazaar.
Zynul Ahmed, Project Leader of e Bazaar continues, "We hope e Bazaar becomes the yellow pages on line for our members and the public."
