Students from Faqiris Gym have been busy entering an array of karate competitions and securing some great results.
Junior instructor Ferrari Faqiri (14) achieved his 2nd Dan grade in Tae Kwon Do and 2nd Dan grade in Karate.
His team mate Gurditta Singh is training hard preparing to take his 1st Dan Karate grading whilst also studying hard for his GCSEs.
On Sunday May 15 Faqiris Gym held their annual club competition part funded by Mr Anwar Patel of Meadow Street Post Office, Preston.
Senior instructor Hashmat Faqiri 5th Dan said, "The club competition gives the new starters a chance to showcase the skills they have learnt. It's fantastic to see the young people at the Gym striving towards their goals as its takes a lot of dedication and confidence to succeed in the martial a arts world.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Anwar for his continued support of the Club."
