FOREVER Bury, the Bury FC Supporters' Trust, is planning to hold its annual "Blue and White Fortnight" as a lead up to the start of the new season.
The event was first held last year when fans asked the local community to put on a show of support for the Club, and local businesses joined in the fun by decorating their window displays in blue and white.
This year it will begin on Sunday, July 24, at noon with a Fun Day and Open Day at the Shakers' Gigg Lane home.
It is a fun event that can build year on year but has little chance of success without wholehearted involvement.
So come on, as Delia said, "Let's be having you!"
All Forever Bury members should have received their membership renewal reminders by now
Hopefully everyone will have responded by completing the form and renewing their membership in advance of July, 1.
Now is the best time to join because new members get a full 12 months benefits.
The reminder notice on the back contains a list of over 40 businesses, shops and other organisations offering discounts to FB members on production of the FB Membership Card.
Some members have taken advantage of these discount offers to the extent that they have recouped the cost of membership in discounts.
Members of the FB Media and External Relations Group have been actively negotiating additions to the list with some exciting developments to be announced before the start of the school holidays.
One addition to the list is the Hi-Life Dining Club, membership of which enabled diners to eat out at hundreds of restaurants in the North of England on the basis of two-for-the price-of-one.
The offer to FB members, made to coincide with the launch of the new Hi-Life Restaurant Directory, is £10 off the price of the club's dining card, which provides two-for-the-price-of-one eating for a year.
Check out the details on www.hi-life.co.uk To claim the discount, just visit the website and register for your card quoting the reference "BURY."
