A LEIGH couple joined the growing throngs of house holders taking pride in their gardens.
John and Lisa Fillingham were delighted with their makeover and finished it off with a new and expensive patio set they had saved for.
But they got a shock when they woke on Tuesday morning, opened the curtains and found the table and chairs had gone.
Low life thieves had had the cheek to sneak in to their Plank Lane home and cart off the whole lot.
These selfish people have no thought for the pain and hurt they create for hard working and honest families who try to make their surroundings brighter. Perhaps one day they too might become victims of malicious crime and find out how it feels.
Meanwhile if anyone is offered a cheap new garden set why not let the police know?
