I WAS pleased to read in the LET that Janet Anderson and more than 90 other MPs are concerned that primates are being kept as domestic pets.
They are backing a campaign to stop this trade and aim for a ban.
Wild animals can never be domesticated to comply with human demands.
In time, the animal will retaliate, putting at risk owners and themselves to injury or even worse.
It's beyond comprehension why anyone would want to possess any animal born wild and free.
