DO any readers remember St Alban's School in Blackburn? I believe it was a secondary modern (these days high school).
My dear friend who is 75 attended it from approximately 1940-1944 (he left at 14).
The only information I have is the headmaster was Mr J Conlan. He was a doctor of music and famed for never caning the same boy twice.
I would like to find out what I can for my friend as a surprise for him, i.e., what happened to the school photos etc?
