CLUB and bar owners have been urged to look for the ecstasy tablets believed to have killed a Darwen woman and left two others seriously ill.
Police investigating the death of 42-year-old mother Sheena Fenton have warned licensed premises across East Lancashire about the "designer" drugs.
She was found at her home in Green Street East, Darwen, and is thought to have taken a dangerous batch of the pink heart-shaped tablets.
Det Sgt Claire Holbrook, of Darwen CID, said today: "We would urge anyone offered these drugs to refuse them and contact the police."
Officers are also continuing with inquiries into the source of the tablets.
DS Holbrook said: "We have received some information but we are still appealing for more."
Police revealed yesterday that Ms Fenton had not been a regular drug user.
A post mortem examination has been carried out but further toxicology tests have been requested .
Officers raided a house in the Sunnyhurst area and arrested a man on suspicion of supplying class A drugs but the man was later ruled out of inquiries relating to the death of Ms Fenton.
Anybody with information should contact the police on 01254 51212.
