WE would like to express our thanks to all those involved with the bandstand project in Clarence Park.
Last Sunday's event was a huge success on all fronts. The park looked magnificent, children and families were using the new play equipment, young people were making good use of the multi-games area and the skate park and, most of all, what a joy to see so many people of all ages enjoying a sunny afternoon.
Thanks must go to the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers for the high standard of entertainment. Special thanks to Marisa Dale for all her hard work and commitment over the years. However, the real stars of the show were Clarence Park itself and the hundreds of people who came out to support the event.
