I HAVE been doing my family tree and found my Auntie Mary Jane Smith married Ephraim Slater who was born in Rishton in 1885.He died in 1940.
At the time of the 1901 census Ephraim was living with his parents Alice and Daniel at 36 Harwood Road, Rishton.
He had other brothers and sisters John, Maggie, Richard, Alice, Annie, Charles, Daniel and Sarah.
I am trying to find out if Mary Jane and Ephraim had any children.
