BURY is to host the Greater Manchester Mini-Games for the first time.
Supported by Bury Council's sports development team and GreaterSport, the games will take place on Thursday, July 14, at Broad Oak Specialist Sports College in Bury.
The mini games is a school based competition between Bury, Bolton, Rochdale and Salford. It is now in its third year and will involve up to 300 primary school children taking part in a number of sporting events including mini tennis, mini basketbal rugby league, rugby union, indoor athletics, girls football and mixed hockey.
