A LETTER to Blackburn Rovers footballer David Dunn has put a pupil in with a chance of winning a Royal Mail competition.
Two pupils from Intack Primary School in Blackburn have been shortlisted for the final of a letter writing competition run by Royal Mail with schools.
Children were asked to write to their First Class Hero and Sherebanu Naveed, aged 10, wrote a letter to her mum and Brandon Crear, nine, wrote to David Dunn.
Each will receive a presentation pack of first class stamps to encourage more letter writing.
Winners will be announced later this month.
Christine Nolan from Royal Mail said: “The standard of entries is very high.”
