Come Dine with Kate
Rawtenstall beauty Kate Mayers won the Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me that was broadcast last week. The 28-year-old Valley resident was crowned the best dinner party host after serving a three-course meal of goats cheese tartlets, pan fried monkfish with mussels and crevettes, and a Baileys brulee.
Up against Kate were property developer Mark Hogg and artist Sarah Rothwell from Ramsbottom, Paul Davies from Bury, and singer Yvonne Hurst from Bolton.
