A RUGBY team is thinking pink for the new season.
Members of Rossendale Rugby Club are sporting a new away kit featuring pink and blue stags.
It follows the example set by Stade Francais, who also wear a pink strip.
The shirts were shelved when they were first unveiled for a more traditional blue number from kit suppliers Samurai.
But some fans of the “Stade strip” decided to continue with their design, bought the strip anyway and paid for it out of their own pocket.
And quite a few players and fans will now be turning out for matches and training in the snazzy pink number.
It may even get an airing on the trip to Penrith on Saturday.
