EIGHT Blackburn Rovers fans were charged with violent disorder following an incident outside the Station Hotel, Cherry Tree, after the East Lancs derby between Blackburn and Burnley.
All pleaded not guilty and were bailed for trial at Preston Crown Court.
The defendants were Samuel Bowen, 25, of Melville Drive, David Comberbach, 40, of Bank Hey View, Jordan Daniel Hoyle, 19, of Park Farm Road, Kenneth John Lyons, 20, of Selbourne Street, Joshua Riley, 21, of Solway Avenue, Paul Michael Rushton, 45, of Boxwood Drive, all Blackburn, Christopher James Sutton, 22, of Meadow Gardens, Rishton, and a 17-year-old from Blackburn.
All except Rushton had bail conditions banning them from entering a designated area of Blackburn, including the town centre and Ewood Park areas on match days, and going within five miles of away grounds before, during and after matches involving Blackburn.
Ashley Fielding, 22, of Winward Close, Lower Darwen, denied using threatening behaviour and was bailed to March 24.
