MEMBERS of the Rossendale Round Table raised over £2,000 for Children in Need.
The group raised the cash with a bucket collection of motorists in Rawtenstall at the Tub Bridge junction.
Chairman Dave Howarth said: "We have been doing this collection for Children in Need for more than 25 years and we have never failed to be impressed by the generosity of the people of Rossendale.
"We had a great turnout from our members who gave up their time to help with the collection. It was a real Rawtenstall effort."
