BLACKBURN with Darwen bosses have turned to YouTube in an attempt to reach the people of the borough.
The council has created a video in its bid to find out what people want to see in the area in 2030.
Bosses say the long-term "2030 Vision" is essential to help them shape the future.
They have also set up a forum on the council website for people to leave comments on subjects like litter, housing and healthcare.
Mike Lee, leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: "This is an exciting and ambitious project that seeks to engage with the public in a different way.
"We have already had some interesting debates and feedback and want toencourage more.
"We hope that people will let their imaginations run and make sure their voice is heard to shape the future of our borough."
