NINETEEN people have appeared before magistrates charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder following the East Lancashire derby between Blackburn and Burnley at Ewood Park.
The charges relate to an alleged incident at the Station pub, in the Cherry Tree area of Blackburn, shortly after 6pm on Sunday, October 18, just hours after the match had finished.
The people who appeared at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court were: Scott Page, 25, of Huntroyde Close, Burnley

Gary Davis, 23, of Culshaw Street, Burnley
Andrew Davis, 26, of Culshaw Street, Burnley
Mathew Owen, 33, of Reynolds Street, Burnley
Ian Carrington, 30, of Romney Avenue, Burnley
James Murdoch, 30, of Hufling Lane, Burnley
Thomas McDonagh, 22, of Valley Road, Barnoldswick
Billy Joe Hawthorn, 19, of Edge End Avenue, Brierfield
Stuart Craig, 22, of Haverholt Close, Colne
Ian Grice, 36, of Herbert Street, Padiham
Andrew Briggs, 18, of Riverside Park, Whitewell Bottom, Rossendale
Sean Widdop, 23, of Hornbeam Way, Manchester
Joshua Gornall, 21, of North View, Eastburn
David Carrington, 35, of Charlebury Avenue, Prestwich.
Two 17-year-olds, from Chorley and Bacup, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also appeared.
They were all remanded on bail to Preston Crown Court.
A date for the hearings has not been set.
Steven Gornall, 48, of Skipton Road, Steeton, was remanded on bail back to the magistrates court on Monday.
All 19 were bailed on condition they do not enter Burnley town centre three hours before, or after, a home game, do not travel to the town or city where Burnley is playing away on the day of the match, and do not use the railways when the Clarets are playing away.
A further 11 people have been charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear before magistrates.
