Lowerhouse Primary School would like to thank all the children who sent in boxes for the school’s shoe box appeal Operation Christmas Child.
A grand total of 48 boxes were collected. Last Friday the children held a non-uniform day for the Children in Need appeal and asked to contribute £1.
The Christmas tree lights have been switched on above the shops and it makes the area look bright and cheerful. Residents are impressed with the lights.
