BUDDING stylists from Nelson and Colne College have participated in the search to unearth the top hairdressers in the UK.
The students have participated in the voting for the ‘People’s Choice Award’ category of product supplier, American Crew’s Face Off competition.
In order to compete, stylists have to create a black and white image featuring a male model, groomed to a professional standard and with a hairstyle that is simple, yet progressive and fashion focused – and created using American Crew products.
The winner of the competition will gain international recognition and a prize which includes return air fare and four nights accommodation in the US.
They will also receive an exclusive photoshoot with the founder of American Crew and top photographer, David Raccuglia, editorial coverage in a leading men’s magazine and a winner’s trophy.
