BLACKBURN MP and Justice Secretary Jack Straw’s expenses claims for 2008-9 totalled £6,275, it was revealed yesterday.
Taxpayers paid for book shelves, a shelf and wall light and new book cases at his Blackburn home in 2008/09.
It has previously been revealed he repaid £1,415 in council tax after claiming too much over five years.
The expenses claims made by Mr Straw for 2008-09 were revealed yesterday on the Parliament website.
