A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries following a crash involving three cars.
The accident happened on the Accrington by-pass near Winfields, just before noon on Sunday.
Paramedics attended the scene and the road was closed briefly.
The man was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
Nobody else was injured.
