EAST Lancashire businesses were among the winners at a regional awards ceremony.
The great and the good were honoured at the North West Society of Chartered Accountants (NWSCA) awards, held at Mellor’s Stanley House Hotel.
Among the winners was Graham Boyes, chairman of Blackburn-based accountants Pierce, who was handed the president’s lifetime achievement award.
Meanwhile, Cassons Chartered Accountants, based in Haslingden, won the accountancy firm of the year award.
NWSCA president John Green said: “All of this year’s winners demonstrated a resilience and determination to succeed in spite of more challenging circumstances.
“The standard of entries this year was incredibly high so on behalf of the judges I would like to offer our congratulations to all of the finalists and winners on their achievement.”
