A BARNOLDSWICK firm has taken on a new events manager to meet the demand of its growing business.

Martin Kersey, 35, previously the cycling and rights of way officer at Ribble Valley Borough Council, has joined Pennine Events, one of the country’s leading organisers of cycling events.

Martin, from Hambleton, near Poulton-le-Fylde, will be based at the company’s new Bamber Bridge office.

Pennine Events specialises in organising sports, leisure, and health events, for councils, charities, health authorities and private companies, across the country.

Mark Sandamas, director of Pennine Events, said: “Martin brings a great deal of technical knowledge and expertise.”
