TWO more men have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal house fire which killed a well respected mosque teacher and his wife.
Police charged Mohammed Miah, 19, and Habib Iqbal, 25, both of London, with two counts of murder and arson with intent to endanger life last night. They will appear at Blackburn Magistrates today.
A total of five men have now been charged in connection with the investigation.
And a 22-year-old man from London who was arrested in Forest Gate on suspicion of murder last week has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Sadek Miah, 23, from the Isle of Dogs, Peter Bowden, 39, from Lytham St Annes and Imran Ali, 29, from Manchester have previously been charged in connection with the incident.
Abdullah Mohammad, 41, and his 39-year-old wife Ayesha died as a result of the fire in London Road, Blackburn, in the early hours of Wednesday, October 21.
