A BACUP-based company has landed a contract with Rossendale council to install decorative railings for a regeneration project in Dale Street.
Pennine Forge Ltd has been hired by the council to carry out the work in the town, which has been funded by the Elevate regeneration programme.
Pennine Forge specialises in handcrafted hot forged wrought iron work, including iron gates, railings, balconies, beds, dining tables, chairs and staircases.
Regeneration portfolio holder Coun Bill Challinor said: “We are pleased to use a local firm and to help keep traditional skills alive.
"The railings look fantastic with amazing scrollwork and detailing.”
