Forty students have taken part in a tug-of-war contest to raise money for a Pendle charity.
Eight teams of five, made up of students from Nelson and Colne College, took part in the challenge on the playing fields.
The event formed part of the vocational studies course with input being assessed to contribute to the students’ overall qualifications.
Stacey’s Angels were crowned eventual winners. Students paid £2.50 to enter.
All money raised is being donated to Pendleside Hospice.
