A CHURCH in Rossendale played host to Valley dignitaries this week as it reflected on years gone by with local residents.
St Peter’s Church, in Haslingden, was visited by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rossendale Coun Joyce Thorne and Luba Reeder during the past and present celebration.
A wide range of exhibits from various decades were on show which painted a hopeful picture of what the future has to hold for the town.
Local people were treated to refreshments and colourful flower displays arranged by Carol Haworth, as they each took trips down Rossendale memory lane.
Programmes and information about the event were also handed out and can be obtained by calling the church in St Peter's Avenue.
