A YOUTH choir is celebrating after its members passed their singing exams with flying colours.
Conductor Susan Eames, who runs Barrowford-based Arden Youth Choir, said all her students who entered their Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music singing exams passed – with nine distinctions and seven merits.
Charlie Dixon, one half of dance act the Cheeky Monkeys who starred in last years Britain’s Got Talent series on ITV1, received an outstanding mark for his distinction in his first singing exam.
Many of the group who passed their exams will be performing at the Muni, in Albert Road, Colne at 6.45pm on Friday.
