Twenty-eight giant clay shoes have been installed along a trail to show visitors the route between the East Lancs railway in Rawtensatll and the Halo Panopticon in Top o'Slate in Haslingden. The trail celebrates Rossendales shoe industry and the fact that Top o'Slate was once a clay pit supplying nearby brick factories.
