COOL Van, an Altham company that supplies refrigerated vehicles, has secured a £150,000 funding boost from NatWest to support its plans for business expansion.
The company, which is based on the Moorfield Industrial Estate, plans to use the funding to recruit four additional workers and to increase production of refrigerated vehicles at its manufacturing base.
Once the new staff are recruited Cool Van will have 16 employees in total.Established in 1991, Cool Van specialises in the supply of new and used temperature control vehicles.
The company can either provide new vehicles from all the major manufacturers or alternatively offer a bespoke design service for used vehicles, or for clients that have more complex requirements.
Chris Warburton, managing director of Cool Van, said: “We have seen a steady rise in the number of customers looking to source used vehicles with new conversions rather than purchase new ones.”
