BUSINESSES in Pendle are now being offered workspaces in Nelson’s brand new ACE centre.

The Arts, Culture and Enterprise Centre, in Cross Street, was officially opened earlier this month.

It contains 32 workspaces of varying sizes available to local businesses, which are being encouraged to expand and create new jobs.

Along with Number One Market Street, the centre is the start of a long and ambitious programme of regeneration work in Nelson.

Brian Cookson, executive director for regeneration, said: “The offices all have stunning views and provide a fantastic opportunity for businesses which want to expand.

“It’s really important that we can help local businesses, particularly during this difficult financial time.

“That’s why we’re providing high quality offices which are excellent value for money.”
