A VOYEUR who secretly filmed house guests using peephole cameras has been jailed for three-and-half years.
Jason Hollings, 37, of Clarence Street, Darwen, disguised the cameras as plug sockets above the bath and in a bedroom.
His actions were inadvertently uncovered when police carried out a drugs raid at his home.
Officers found video footage of seven women on Hollings’ computer, along with cocaine and scales.
Preston Crown Court heard the women had still not been identified and probably had no idea they were ever filmed.
Judge Pamela Badley sentenced Hollings to two and half years for the drugs offence, and one year for voyeurism. She condemned his actions.
Judge Badley said: “These are very unpleasant matters for which you have given no explanation.
“It is perhaps a blessing these women remain unfound and unaware of what has happened.
“If they knew they would undoubtedly be outraged and appalled.”
She put Hollings on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.
Hollings had pleaded guilty to voyeurism charges and possessing cocaine with intent to supply. Mark Lambert, prosecuting, had told the court the drug offences related to a low level of dealing and were to fund Hollings’ own addiction.
Martin Hackett, defending said his client’s addiction had spiralled following the death of his brother and best friend.
He said: “He was supplying a small number of acquaintances.
"He was not selling on street corners and it was at the lower end of the scale.”
