HUNDREDS of singing schoolchildren from across an East Lancashire borough are performing during a musical spectacular.
The event, organised by Blackburn with Darwen Music and Arts Service, will see more than 750 young people taking part over two days.
Mini Sing Day 2009 took place yesterday at King George’s Hall with a workshop for 250 infant school children and an evening concert.
Today the 'Big Sing' takes place, where primary and secondary children will perform with a live band, Blackburn People’s Choir and Blackburn Cathedral’s boys and girls choir.
