LONGRIDGE High School will join nine other schools in the 2009 Lancashire Mathematics Challenge Final after winning their district heat.
The school beat off tough competition from Parklands High School and Bishop Rawstorne CE Language College to take first place.
The challenge is sponsored by Lancashire County Council’s economic development department, Lancashire County Developments Limited, and involved all of Lancashire’s 85 secondary schools. The grand final is this month at the Woodlands Conference Centre, in Chorley.
