WALKERS are being offered a talking guide for tours around a rural part of Pendle.
The audio is designed to guide people around Barnoldswick’s Stream and Steam Heritage Trail.
A special version is available for children, which follows the adventures of Barlick the Wizard and Ossy the Owl around the town.
Residents are now able to download the audio from Pendle Council’s website, meaning they can listen to it on their MP3 players.
Neall Bower, the conservation project officer for Pendle Council, said: “We wanted to make the walks as interesting and enjoyable for all ages as possible.
“It includes stories such as the background of the Corn Mill and the story of the Baptists in Barnoldswick.”
