A POWER cut left traders without electricity in Colne town centre.
Church Street was brought to a halt on Saturday after an underground link box failed.
Workers from United Utilities spent hours repairing the fault, which was fixed by 2.40pm.
A spokesman said: “We deployed a team to fix the emergency after the link box failed at 9.10am.
“We know 145 people were affected. We apologise for the inconvenience caused but it was an emergency.”
