BUS services in Darwen will change from May 26 when they are taken over by a new operator.
J and S Travel will run the services but will operate to a slightly different timetable.
Services affected are D1 Sunnyhurst, D2 Birch Hall (renumbered to D4) and D6 Knowlesly Road. There will be slight variation to the times.
JS2 Pothouse, which is already currently operated by J and S Travel, will also have a timetable amendment. This route will be reduced from two per hour to one per hour.
New timetable leaflets are currently being prepared and will be available at Darwen Town Hall from this weekend.
They will also be available from the visitors centre, Church Street, Blackburn, Blackburn Library and Darwen Health Centre.
Adam Scott, strategic director of regeneration and environment, said: “The changes in timetable are unavoidable as a result of the change of operator.
"We are producing new timetables to ensure that passengers are aware of the change before they come into operation.”
