POLICE launched a crackdown on night-time crime and anti-social behaviour in an operation over the weekend.
Special Constables targeted the Bank Top area of Blackburn in a high-profile scheme designed to halt crime and vandalism from youngsters.
Teenagers were stopped after dark and several bottles of cider and beer were confiscated and thrown away.
Sgt James Black from the neighbourhood policing team said: “We will continue to run similar operations in the future.”
