A COMMUNITY art project by Burnley teenagers is on display in the town.
Young people aged between 12 and 18 worked with artists Daniel Scanlin and Claire Weetman, coming up with artworks using a variety of unusual techniques.
They included drawing directly on to Perspex and “drawing” with torchlight in the dark.
Twenty two sessions with the two artists were run altogether, with boys and girls attending 11 each.
The artworks are on display at Sir John Thursby Community College, in Eastern Avenue, until Monday, February 9.
A special presentation night will then be held at Stoneyholme and Daneshouse Community Centre, Daneshouse Road, on Friday, February 27.
The events are part of an initiative run by Queens Park Road-based Burnley Youth Theatre.
