AN East Lancashire council leader has united with councillors from across the North West in a stand against the Israeli government.
Pendle leader Coun Mohammed Iqbal attended an emergency meeting at Manchester Town Hall to condemn the recent attacks in the troubled Gaza strip.
Councillors and council workers from across the region were at the meeting in the hope to put pressure on governments to try to end the conflict.
