BOOKS of condolence have been opened in Blackburn and Darwen town halls to show support for those affected by the Mumbai attacks.
Council leader Colin Rigby said: "I was very shocked and saddened to hear what had happened in Mumbai.
:They were horrific attacks. We have opened these books so people can leave messages of support and sympathy."
The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Mohammed Khan said: "We have opened these books to remember the innocent people who died in Mumbai.
"Our thoughts are with those people's relatives and those who have been hostage victims.
"I am sure everyone in Blackburn with Darwen is appalled as I am at the atrocities."
