A BURNLEY school has joined the small list of schools in Lancashire to achieve the prestigious ICT Mark status.
It recognises schools using technology to improve school life, including pupil assessment, teaching, the development of staff, leadership and management.
Rosewood Primary School was credited with the award after a rigorous assessment earlier this term.
Ian McCann, head- teacher at Rosewood Primary, said: “We are thrilled.
"Staff work really hard to ensure that technology is embedded in the curriculum, from our nursery school children, using digital cameras and videos to our older pupils, who use technology across the curriculum, from composing music digitally to using technology for video conferencing.”
