A 60-year-old woman left with severe pelvic injuries when she was hit while clearing the ice from her windscreen is in stable condition in Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Dianna Hall, from the Clitheroe area, was left injured after she was hit by a car after she had pulled over to a grass verge in Accrington Road, Whalley, around 10am on Wednesday.
Police said she has no tissue damage but was expected to undergo surgery.
