ARTISTS in the Ribble Valley now have a dedicated website featuring a feast of the area’s dance, drama, music, visual arts and poetry.
The web site has been set up by the Ribble Valley Arts Alliance to highlight the breadth and depth of artistic talent in valley.
The alliance hopes the web site will be used as a networking tool and encourage collaborative working.
Ribble Valley Borough Council’s arts development officer, Zoe Fagg, said: “The website is a fantastic new venture aimed at promoting local artists, organisations and venues, and improving community participation in creative and cultural activities.
“We hope it will help artists and organisations work in partnership on a wide range of events and activities, as well as raise the profile of Ribble Valley arts across Lancashire.”
The Ribble Arts Alliance is a public and private sector partnership coordinated by Ribble Valley Borough Council and the Ribble Valley Strategic Partnership aimed at promoting arts.
