One of Blackburn’s first business centres has celebrated its 20th birthday.
The Business Development Centre, at Eanam Wharf by the Leeds-Liverpool canal, was opened in November 1988 to provide 28 offices for new and growing businesses, with three conference rooms and administration and other services.
The Grade II listed building, built in the early 1800s, was one of Blackburn’s first cotton warehouses.
