Whalley had a ‘Dickens of a good time’ as it soaked up the sights and sounds of a Victorian street party last night.
Whalley Pickwick society celebrated the 20th year of Pickwick at the annual event.
Local shops stayed open until 9pm, with staff dressed in Victorian-style dress as they sold ‘Yuletide gifts.’ A fairground, fire-eaters, jugglers and school choirs were all part of the line-up.
